This is a word processor and paint box rolled into one. Writing Blaster not only helps kids develop fundamental writing and reading skills, but provides hundreds of ways to turn those skills into eye-popping multimedia creations. Using words, pictures, sound effects and surprises, kids of all ages and skill levels can have fun expressing themselves while publishing everything from greeting cards to book reports and their very own storybooks.

This CD will help kids build, practice and reinforce essential writing skills including:

•     Writing complete sentences and paragraphs

•     Writing to communicate an idea

•     Learning vocabulary and creating word lists

•     Using descriptive words

•     Using capital letters and punctuation

There are over 100 templates for projects like greeting cards, journals, alphabet books and storybooks. Drawing and writing tools encourage kids to express themselves through words and pictures.

Kids can record their stories and hear them read back and helpful tips promote better writing skills.
