Kids take charge of 12 different heavy-duty Tonka trucks and help Tonka Joe build a city, pave desert roads, design a snow-capped mountain resort and dig a quarry. In the city kids can demolish building and build from scratch. Young builders must use the right piece of equipment in the right order to demolish a building, clear away the rubble, dig for the foundation, mix cement and pour the foundation and build a new building. In the desert kids will make a new road with the bulldozer, grater, paver and roller. Once the road is finished children can build a town. There is treasure hidden in the quarry and finding it is so much fun. Kids can bang and blast rocks in their search for treasure. In Tonka Snow Village kids use building, signs, trees, ponds and more to design their very own ski resort. This is a perfect combination of task oriented and imaginative play. Kids are not just playing, they are listening, following directions and using reasoning skills to accomplish the tasks. Once the construction steps are complete imagination takes over as kids design and build unique towns, cities and villages.
