Strategy Challenges Collection 2 In the Wild This program is contained in Teachers Pet Upper Elementary. Three wild strategy games build strategic thinking and problem solving skills for kids 9 to adult. This collection of games will keep kids thinking for hours. Players can choose to play against a friend or the computer. The computer has variable challenge levels. Strategy coaches help with tactics. Jungle Chess challenges players to move wild animal pieces around a board. Animals have unique skills and can only capture certain other animals. Maneuver a piece into the opponents den to win. Surakarta uses loops where players encircle and capture their opponents. This is a demanding offensive and defensive game. Players can choose to play against two different computer opponents or a friend. Tablut is another board game where players move dark and light pieces to try to capture the king or set him free. If you think these games sound simple think again. Levels of challenge advance as players master the games. In addition to the games, safari videos show how animals use strategy to survive. These games take a lot of thinking power. This program is also contained in, Teachers Pet Upper Elementary. Windows 95/98/ME (not compatible with XP*), 486 33 MHz+, 8 MB RAM, 5 MB free disk space, 2X CD-ROM, 640X480 256 color (runs in High Color, 600X800), sound card. *We were able to run this program and play all the games on Windows XP, however there was a video problem with the sign-in screen that may or may not be associated with Windows XP.
