Midnight Rescue

Part of the great Super Solvers series by The Learning Company, Midnight Rescue is a fast-paced, arcade-style game that enhances reading comprehension in kids ages 7-10. Best of all, they love to play it!

You are the Super Solver on a quest to save Shady Glen school. Morty Maxwell, your arch nemesis, is trying to erase the school. Only great reading, comprehension, deductive reasoning and problem solving can save Shady Glen. You explore the school to find clues hidden in stories and notes. Take pictures of Marty's robots and compare the pictures to your clues to find the right robot. If you are a super reader and solver you can stop Morty, but you only have until midnight.

You begin by roaming the halls, looking for clues and taking magic pictures to reveal robot facts.  In Read All About It, you will read notes and stories to uncover hidden clues. Once you collect all the clues you answer questions and compare clues to robot pictures.

Children develop skills such as reading for main ideas, drawing conclusions and increased vocabulary This CD promotes gathering, organization and analysis of information (necessary to win the game). This program includes over 200 reading selections, over 400 questions and over 500 words defined in context of reading passages with 8 levels of reading.

Players must brush up on reading and thinking skills to outsmart Morty and make sure he's the one who does the disappearing!
