$14.95 Storybook Weaver Deluxe This is a wonderful program by The Learning Company for creative kids and kids who need some help in writing. Storybook Weaver helps kids express their vivid imaginations in English or Spanish. Children begin with the Title Page where they name their story, type in the author and can even add a decorative border. On the story pages the possibilities are endless. Children begin with a background and create a picture using stamps. You can change the size and orientation of stamps and even edit them. Kids can add music and sound effects or record their own voice to narrate the story. In the text area kids write their stories. There are lots of fonts to choose from, a spell checker and thesaurus. Kids can change the size and color of their text. Story starters are available for kids having a hard time getting started. The preferences tab allows you to choose a language, English or Spanish. All directions are give in the language chosen and story starters are available in both languages. When the story is complete kids can save it to print out or play later for family and friends. This program is packed with over 1,800 images, 140 interchangeable scenery combinations, 37 colors, 69 page borders, 99 sound effects and 60 songs. It is easy to use and flexible enough for even the most creative imaginations. Kids can write about a mythical land or tell about a favorite vacation. Its easy and fun with Storybook Weaver Deluxe.
