After collecting all the facts Sara and James are ready to publish front-page articles about the American revolution. Kids supply the headlines and choose content from their observations and interviews. Reporters can publish and print their papers. Kids can really understand the important events of the American revolution when they experience it for themselves. Students learn about The Boston Tea Party, Lexington and Concord, The Declaration of Independence, Washington Crossing the Delaware, Saratoga, Valley Forge and the Battle of Yorktown. Young reporters must listen and observe carefully, separate fact from opinion and compose reports and articles. The CD also includes mini movies from the PBS Kids television show.
