Tonka Joe guides kids at the dispatch center where players choose the Tonka Garage, Rescue Academy or a mission to complete. There are 14 rescue vehicles and heavy equipment to learn about and operate. A flash flood is causing havoc and the rescue team needs help. Kids first maneuver the fire truck to put out a fire, then clean up the debris. Young rescue workers must then fix the bridge with the crane and fly the helicopter to save a stranded dog. That is not all, kids must finish several tasks to complete a mission. In addition to the flash flood players must restore the zoo after an earthquake and tackle a warehouse fire. As players complete tasks they earn awards. At the print center kids can print their awards along with decals, medals, license plates and more. This CD is action packed and more than just play. Kids must use logical thinking, sequencing, and listening skills to complete tasks. Following directions is also important. Kids only know they love to play these games.
