Spelling Blaster

Part of the famous blaster series by Knowledge Adventure, this program helps kids master spelling skills while they play arcade style games.

The blaster pals are on the Planet Islandia and they need help. The mumblers are stealing books from the planet's treasury. Kids choose to play are Blasternaut or GC as they explore three different islands on the planet to play spelling games. As players complete activities they are rewarded with clues to narrow down which mumbler did it.

Kids begin by choosing a word list from over 140 lists. Parents can also add custom lists so kids can practice their spelling words for school. The words are then repeated as children play games. In true blaster fashion, these are fun arcade games that kids love to play. 

In the cave, kids navigate a maze while they pick up letters and avoid obstacles and monsters. Players must then unscramble the letters to make a word. Children will also complete words by shooting letters into geyers, create an iceberg path across a lake by identifying misspelled words and type words as the letters disappear to fix a bridge.

These games are easy to play and allow repetition of words to facilitate learning. Kids have never had so much fun learning to spell.
