Jump Start Typing

Children ages 7-10 will excel at keyboarding with this exciting typing program from Jump Start.

This is not your ordinary typing instruction, this is a keyboarding adventure. Coach Qwerty has been locked in the trophy room. Kids must master keyboarding skills and meet challenges to rescue the coach.

There are over 30 lessons that start with key introduction, work on key practice and then speed typing. Movie clips show correct finger placement, posture and other fundamentals. After kids master an area they can take timed typing tests to check their WPM and accuracy.

In addition to the lessons there are five exciting games to play including Roller Racing, Cliff Hanger and more. Players use their keyboarding skills to play extreme soccer, downhill snowboarding, skateboarding and more. These games are not only fun, but help to improve speed and accuracy.

Players can only access games by powering up with keyboarding lessons and practice.
