C. J. Frog and Edison the Firefly are the hosts at the Jump Start World Fair. There are 4 pavilions to visit and the World's Fair Expo Hall.

Kids choose from the French, Spanish, Japanese and English Pavilions. The pavilions have the same activities with relevant cultural stories, customs, decor, and characters. Each has two buddies to guide them, a translator buddy and native buddy. The native buddy will only speak in their native language, but children can choose to hear a translation in English from the other buddy.

In the French Pavilion kids learn with Chloe and fun kitten. Chloe welcomes visitors, sings songs and reads stories in French. The Spanish Pavilion is full of fun from Mexico. Kids can color a pinata or dress puppets with the help of Sarafina. In the Japanese Pavilion, Hiroshi, is ready to play a hide and seek game in the kitchen or a number memory game with the telephone. The English Pavilion is lots of fun with Frankie and Roxie leading the way. Each pavilion has two stories children create by choosing items for the story. The story is then read to them in the native language and in English. There is also a fun one or two player game outside each location.

The World Fair Expo Hall is full of fun things to do. There are video voyages to different countries and lots of activities on the Make Your Own Desk. Kids can print instructions to make costumes, holiday decorations and famous landmarks. There are also printable songs, recipes and games from the four countries.

Children who are exposed to language early establish the necessary foundation for later language development, develop greater problem-solving skills, improve their success in other studies and have a heightened interest in other cultures.

The time to begin learning another language or just develop an ear for another language is when children are young. This CD is the perfect way for kids to discover the sights and sounds of other languages and cultures.
